Online Pest Control Training
Much like nurses and social workers, licensed pesticide applicators also need to engage in continuing education throughout their professional career for license renewal. Fulfilling this continuing education requires the completion of continuing education units, or CEUs. But for a busy professional, earning these credits can be hard to accomplish around a full-time schedule. That’s why at Pest Control Courses, we offer a variety of Online Pest Control Training opportunities. Take classes in the evenings or on weekends and work towards license renewal on your own time.
We offer state-approved Online Pest Control Training courses that we have specifically designed to assist certified pesticide applicators in earning license renewal. Learn about federal pesticide laws, pesticide modes of action and emergency procedures. We even offer two-part courses in pesticide safety and nonchemical pest control techniques. We pack all of our pest control classes online with valuable information and practical application. And you can be sure that our courses are rigorous enough to qualify for professional development, but not too difficult or riddled with questions designed to trip you up.
Pest Control Courses is a great resource for earning necessary CEUs through our collection of pest control classes online. We offer easy registration and even a money-back guarantee, because we’re in the business of assisting successful applicators.
It’s the responsibility of the pesticide applicator to submit documentation of continuing education and professional development. Which is why we make the process of receiving your certificate of completion easy and convenient. When you’ve finished taking all your pest control classes online, you can simply print off your certificate at your own home computer. Never worry about this important document getting lost in the mail. Just print and store in a safe space until it’s time to submit for license renewal.

How Our Pest Control Training Courses Work:
Register and pay for one of our Virginia pest control training courses. This involves creating a username and password.
Next, you will start the course. The first screen will have a vertical listing of the lesson titles for the course you signed up for. In Virginia, if you are a commercial applicator, then there will be 8 lesson titles listed vertically in large black and white lettering in the middle of the screen.
Select the first listing and you will be taken to that lesson; it will be a few pages long. Read the lesson and at the bottom of the lesson in a long, skinny, rectangular box will be the word “Test” followed by the lesson title.
Select (click on) the test to begin the 10 question multiple choice quiz that goes with the lesson. After answering the tenth and final question, find the button at the bottom, right-hand side of the page that is labeled “Finish”.
Click on the “Finish” button to score the quiz and save your answers. A score of 70 or above must be achieved before being allowed to advance to the next lesson. When a person scores a 60 or lower, he is returned to the beginning and must retake the quiz until scoring a 70 or better. There is no limit to how many times a person may retake a quiz.
Click on the “Continue” bar to check off the lesson just completed and to advance to the next lesson.
**If one wishes to take take a break at some point that is fine but be sure to click on the “Continue” bar after passing a lesson test before taking a break. This will mark off this last completed lesson. Failing to do so will result in having to re-do the last lesson completed when one logs back in to our site.**
When a student completes and scores his final quiz, he will be taken to a screen where he can print his continuing education certificate.
Be sure to maintain a copy of your Continuing Education Certificate on file. You will need to show this certificate to the official in the event you are audited.
